For the first post of this blog, I want to give everyone access to the content of the email I recently sent out. If you have questions or would like to contribute to our current goal, please email me at email@example.com

The following is the email update:
Hello from New Jersey!
I hope this email finds you in good health and resting in the peace that comes from being reminded at Easter that our savior Jesus Christ conquered sin and death for us so that we could once again be in right relationship with our Heavenly Father.
The past few weeks have been a whirlwind for Ann and me as we packed up all of our earthly possessions and made the move from Virginia to live with my parents in New Jersey temporarily while Ann starts her new job in Philadelphia and as I continue making progress on starting up this new ministry in Bucks County Pennsylvania. We cherished the full week of time we had together without job responsibilities before the family festivities began at my parents house a week ago. We kept busy through Easter with my grandma Addleman staying at my parents for about 5 days, my uncle John coming to visit for a couple days, and spending time with my oldest sister Emily and her family. It has been so good to so easily spend time with family!
The beginning of this week marked going back to work for both Ann and me. She has been enjoying getting to know her coworkers and familiarizing herself with her new surroundings, but I know she will be more than ready to start visiting those moms as soon as they will let her do so! The hardest part of this new position for her will probably be the commute as it is about and hour and fifteen minutes one way without traffic. Fortunately my mom works at the local library and promised to keep Ann supplied with good books on CD for that long drive!
As for me I am in the early stages of filing for non-profit status for the ministry. As you can probably imagine, there are a lot of details required to complete this process, but we are fortunate to have the help of a generous lawyer friend. We have started the work of incorporating in Pennsylvania and filing with the IRS in order to attain our 501(c)(3) status. It has been a HUGE help to have someone walking me through this process, and due to his generosity the cost for all of this is substantially less than it could have been. That being said there is still an opportunity to help us cover the remaining fees if you are interested. The cost to incorporate in Pennsylvania is $250 and the fees for filing with the IRS are $850. I am looking for anyone interested in helping to cover this $1100 in any amount you are willing to give. If you are interested, please respond with the amount you would like to give and I will follow up with you about the details. For those interested, I will be able to give you a tax deductible receipt, it will just be pending the IRS acceptance (which will hopefully happen before next tax season). It will be a big step and a lot easier to check things off of my task list once we have filed, and I look forward to keeping all of you updated as things progress!
Please continue to keep us in your prayers:
-Pray for Ann’s new job and for her to show God’s love to her coworkers as best she can
-Pray for safety and sanity for Ann as she deals with the long commute everyday
-Praise God for his protection over us and our belongings as we traveled from VA to NJ
-Pray about the opportunity to give in order to help cover the costs of setting up our non-profit
-Pray for efficiency in the application processes for incorporating in PA and filing with the IRS
-Pray for the hearts and minds of the youth and families that we will be reaching out to through this ministry and that we would never lose sight of the mission of bringing the hope of Jesus to hurting young lives
As always please do not hesitate to respond with questions or comments! I would love to hear from you!
Thanks for your time, prayers, and consideration,
